# DashOps privacy policy

> What DashOps collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices available to visitors and customers.

The privacy policy covers the personal data DashOps processes as a controller for its own site and as a processor for customer ad data, the third parties involved, the legal reasons for using the data, retention, and how to exercise data rights. It states plainly that the marketing site uses analytics, session-recording and advertising tools through Google Tag Manager (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta pixel), that the dashboard uses Google Analytics and reports new free trials to Meta and to Google Analytics, which passes them on to Google Ads, that for companies created on or after 22 October 2026 the DashOps server also reports each new free trial to Meta and each first payment to Meta and to Google Analytics, with the email address of the main admin hashed for Meta and never an email address for Google, that the site and the dashboard at app.dashops.io (not at agency web addresses) load the Google Ads tag, which uses cookies to measure DashOps ads and to build remarketing lists so Google can show DashOps ads to people who visited, with an opt out on the Ads Settings page Google provides, and that a hashed email sent to Meta is designed to be matched against an account Meta already holds rather than to make anyone anonymous. It also says that Google Analytics is linked to the DashOps Google Ads account with personalized advertising turned on, so lists of visitors it builds, on every address where it runs, can be used to show DashOps ads to people who visited (remarketing with Google Analytics), with opt outs on the Ads Settings page Google provides and through the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. It also says that the marketing site loads the tawk.to live chat widget, which sets its own cookies and receives visit details and anything a visitor types into the chat, and it lists the emails DashOps may send during a free trial and how to stop them. It also says that the sign-up form asks for a phone number as a second way to reach the person, that someone who signs up but does not finish gets one reminder, and that a sign-up whose free trial has not started within 7 days is deleted, while the customer record Stripe makes when the card page is opened stays with Stripe until the person asks for it to be removed.
